About me!
My name is Austin Niemi. I’m an industrial design student from San Jose, CA at the University of Washington in Seattle. I’m passionate about learning new skills and bringing my ideas to life through hands-on work.
Whether working with a team or diving into solo projects, I love seeking out projects that push me to grow as a designer and as a storyteller. My design journey has been amazing thus far, and I can’t wait to see where it’ll take me.
I enjoy rainy day hikes, film photography, and poke bowls with lots of green onions. In my free time you’ll find me listening to music with friends, biking around Seattle, or making lattes in the studio (still working on my latte art skills!). Feel free to reach out at aniemi1@uw.edu!
